Jotlet

Jotlet (jotlet.org) is a free, open-source audience response system that lets you create shared boards where participants can post anonymous notes in real-time. It’s useful for brainstorming sessions, collecting feedback, facilitating Q&A discussions, or running interactive workshops. Whether you’re teaching a class, leading a meeting, or hosting a session, Jotlet provides a simple way to gather input from your audience.

The platform is designed to be straightforward: no account creation required for posting and boards are shared with a simple ID code, allowing participants join and contribute immediately. Jotlet supports mathematical expressions and offers CSV export for analyzing responses after your session. The focus is on keeping things simple without getting bogged down with excessive features.

Developed at the University of Nottingham, Jotlet is completely free of subscriptions or restrictions and prioritizes user privacy and transparency. Whether you’re working with a small group or a large audience, Jotlet offers a practical tool for anonymous, real-time collaboration.
